Someone at a DB counter in Germany told me today that they can no longer book any Interrail reservations for trains abroad since 2020. Does anyone know whether this is true? Considering that it is not possible to book any reservations for Spanish trains through the Interrail booking website - is there any other way to get a reservation for Spain?

edit: I have the same problem for the night train Paris-Latour de Carol. They couldn't book it at the DB counter, and the Interrail reservation tool just does not work at all (it says "Using the timetable below, you can make reservations for most European trains", but there is no timetable on the page: https://www.interrail.eu/en/book-reservations/book-your-reservations-online).

Hi.
A common problem these Interrail reservations.

### Interrail reservations in Spain:
- either at the railway station directly in Spain (ticket window). I'm not sure if vending machines sell "only reservations" in 2022 in Spain.
- or at ACPRail. There you get an e-reservation by email. But they chrge a fee of 4 EUR per reservation, as they offer the service but do not earn income by selling the reservation itself.
Booking link for ACPRail:
https://rail.shop/acprail/reservation

### Night train Paris to Latour de Carol / Interrail reservation
Also possible via ACPRail. SNCF offered it still last year, but now it is not possible anymore to buy Interrail reservations online at their website. Same problem as in Italy. Sad.
Anyway... use ACPRail again and fill in:
PARIS
and
LA TOUR DE CAROL ENVEITG

ACPRail also offers the spelling "LA TOUR DE CAROL-ENVEIGT" with "-" and "GT" at the end. But then you won't find a result.

The local train from Latour de Carol down to Barcelona is free with Interrail.

Enjoy your trip, Peter :)

Hi Peter,

In case anyone has the same question: Competent salespeople at DB counters should be able to book Spanish Interrail reservations (even for trains not shown in the DB timetable). Alternatively, email the DB Agentur Lennestadt (https://www.lennestadt.de/lebenswert/DB-Agentur/) and pick up the reservation at any ticket machine in Germany.
